But whatever. I’ve been busy. Anyway… Here’s some cool stuff.
Today I found out AWESOME news re: my favourite Fortitude Valley street: CONSTANCE STREET.
I love Constance Street. Kerbside, Limes, Barsoma… AND it’s about to get better! I know, right?
Two houses next to Limes are going to be redeveloped to create a “New-York style multi bar venue”. I am so excited about this.
And on top of that, you know how I love Limes but it’s always a bummer when it’s raining? NOT ANY MORE! The smart cookies at Limes have just installed a fully retractible roof over the bar. It’s kind of like Limes is the convertible of bars! And if you’re lucky enough to be invited to the Limes VIP 3rd birthday party on June 2nd you’ll be join the first to try out the brand new cocktail menu. Brisbane party girl is hoping they are going to incorporate some twists on the staple to any bar Espresso Martini.
Heard about the new way to get home from the Valley?
It’s called Priority One Transport. It’s a privately owned company that have vans that will pick you up from the Valley and take you home. They charge flat rates per van so if you’re in a group it works out really well. For example, airport to City is $40, and the City to Surfers Paradise run is $125. You can either call ahead to book your ride home or call on the night to check availability. The best part? Not having to think about cab lines!
Whats on this weekend?
Ministry of Sound Sessions 8 Tour @ The Met. These nights are always amazing. They have Tommy Trash, Mr Wilson & who could forget… SAM LA MORE. That man can do no wrong. Really.
Architecture in Helsinki — The Hi Fi — Friday night. Their first tour around Aus in 3 years.
Hungary Kids of Hungary — The Hi Fi — Saturday night.

Other stuff going coming up soon:
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival - Brisbane: August 20-26.
Be My Wingman - What is it? It’s for the ladies. It’s a new event created for girls to make friends and contacts in a friendly, easygoing way. Every girl knows it, it’s not the easiest thing to make ‘new’ girlfriends. We all look like bitches before we get to know eachother. :) The first unique social society event will be held in the lovely venue of Claret House, on Vernon Terrace in Teneriffe. Tickets are $30. Check out the website for more info, www.bemywingman.com.au
Teneriffe Festival - Gearing up for year #2 on July 3. It’s such a fun day… Last year we walked through Nova studios and danced at the Silent Disco, drank champagne by the River and walked through the packed out streets.
Ciao Caio…. phl… xx
