Ok kids, Thursday night’s activities have been and gone, and now it’s time to have the second coffee for the day and choose what to do tonight to start off the weekend.

STILETTO IN THE GHETTO – From 5pm today, the Laneway Event hosted by KAW Agency and tonic Architects will include a street style catwalk show featuring Brisbane/ Fortitude Valley designers and boutiques. Also expect pop-up bars, DJ’s, designer auction, along with the after party held at Siana Valley.

Entry is a gold coin donation. Cnr. Hynes and Brookes Streets, Fortitude Valley. Until 10pm.

BATS MAGAZINE ISSUE #9 – ‘CONSPIRACY’ LAUNCH PARTY – As the name of the event suggests, to launch the ninth issue Bats are throwing a party at Alloneword tonight. From 8pm, support the great art of binge drinking with them and while your there pick up free copies of the new issue and listen to some great music. Check out the live art and giveaways, music from Van Miert, Charlie Hustle, Pipes and Nick C. Entry is $5 before 10pm, and the amount of people RSVP’d to this on FB is a lot, lot more than what fits into Alloneword so try getting there early.
